Terms & Conditions

By choosing to use any of our services you are agreeing to these terms.

Classes & Terms

MBM Pilates classes are run on a block basis (usually 6 weeks at a time).  Spaces in each class are limited per class/per block so once booked/paid you have confirmed your commitment for the whole block.  Spaces are allocated first to direct debit members and then on a first come, first served basis for remaining block booked spaces.  Unfortunately we are unable to guarantee or hold a space for you without payment.  If the class is full we will add you to a waiting list, but there can be no guarantees on spaces becoming available.

If you are unable to make a session, it may be possible to make up a missed one by attending an alternative location/time, provided you have requested this to us, there is space and you are at the correct level to attend.  (This is at the discretion of the instructor and must be pre-agreed).  This is not guaranteed – but we do try to facilitate this where possible.

If for some unforeseen reason the class is cancelled due to instructor, then you may receive a refund for the class/es.

You must not attend a class if you are feeling unwell with anything that could spread to others – this is for the safety of the whole class.

If your doctor or health professional has requested you stop Pilates, you must provide evidence of this and you will receive a refund on any pro-rata sessions left on the term.

Mats

Equipment will generally NOT be provided, however, for free trial members or if someone forgets, mats/equipment can be borrowed but must be cleaned thoroughly before and after use. We always recommend to have your own mat, resistance band, small towel or cushion for your head/back if you can.

Private Sessions

MBM Private Pilates sessions are booked on a 6 or 10 session or rolling monthly basis.  They need to be used within 3 months of purchasing.  Sessions must be paid for at least 48 hours prior to the expected session.  We require at least 24 hours' notice for a cancellation/change to a session or you may forfeit the session (exceptional circumstances will be considered under discretion).

If your doctor or health professional has requested you stop Pilates, you must provide evidence of this and you will receive a refund on any pro-rata sessions left on the term.

Lockdowns/Hall closures

If we are advised by government to go back into a lockdown or a hall is unavailable (maybe due to refurbishment)– all classes will transfer directly to online until we are able to get back to the hall.

Direct Debit

If you opt for our direct debit membership you will be saving 10-16% on class prices across the year – this is a minimum 3 month commitment, then rolling monthly thereafter.  After the 3 months you may cancel in writing by email to us no later than the 10 days prior to the next payment being taken.  By signing up to the direct debit you are agreeing to these terms.

General Ts & Cs

You must always inform your instructor at the start of a session if you have any injuries or discomfort.  If during a session if you feel any pain or discomfort, you must stop and speak to your instructor.  This is for your safety.

Please keep a copy of these Terms and Conditions for your records.
